Godin uses Twitter as his example this time. Currently there are no nonprofits in the top 100 users of Twitter.
The last time Godin shared similar thoughts, they were related to nonprofits and their use (or lack thereof) of his own Squidoo lenses.

It really doesn't matter what the technology is. A few years ago I blogged about my theory that nonprofits take 10 years to adopt to anything new.

My theory, though untested, is approaching Law of Nature status as disruptive technologies emerge seeminlgy everyday.
Twitter was founded in March 2006 so, NPO's should be on board in 2016.
Godin's right. Twitter is just another example.

CUSTOMER-MADE: “The phenomenon of corporations creating goods, services and experiences in close cooperation with experienced and creative consumers, tapping into their intellectual capital, and in exchange giving them a direct say in (and rewarding them for) what actually gets produced, manufactured, developed, designed, serviced, or processed.”
