What happened to Google? I used to adore this search engine. But I'm a little sick of my search results being filled with sites developed on geocities 12 years ago with no useful information and a bajillion text links acquired through link exchanges over the past decade.

This sucks. You can find this happening with almost any search term.
STARTING my searches on wikipedia is a much better use of my time. And if I'm looking for products and stuff I go to yahoo. Otherwise, I'll be wasting my time sifting through useless sites. It's unfortunate. This once great search engine has forgotten its roots and has not responded well to the recent explosion in content.
