Experimenting with Ad Revenue

You'll be seeing ads on this blog shortly.  Not apologizing.  Just letting you know.  I'm mostly just curious about it.  I'll post earnings if they are interesting.

What's your opinion on Corporate Social Responsibility?

A feature in the Economist in 2005 asserted that...

the only socially responsible thing a company should do is to make money...

Thoughts?  I'd like to hear what people think about this notion.

Why should Google have all the ad revenue? 

Goodsearch is powered by Yahoo search.  Personally, I don't have a real preference on which search engine i use.  Search engines are like gas stations to me.  I usually go to whichever one is closest or on the way.  But if there was a gas station that donated a portion of revenues to the charity of my choice, i'd probably go out of my way to get there - at least once in a while.

I'll get some gas at Goodsearch and see how it works out.
